| Many people claim an ability to predict quakes.
Some are scientists others claim to be psychics or mystics. We will pay you a $1,000.00 reward if you can predict when and where a quake over 6.6 will strike! (See Contest below) If you think you can predict a quake over 6.6 at least 21 days in advance and name the exact Longitude and Longitude, email us your prediction, it will be posted on this page. Limit of 1 quake prediction per person every 60 days. You also must post the prediction in either alt.prophecies.nostradamus or sci.geo.earthquakes at least 21 days in advance of the quake. If a quake over 6.6 Magnitude Richter strikes the exact Longitude and Latitude of your prediction, you will be given $1,000.00 by ASSI Publishing. There is no entrance fee for this quake prediction contest. Your prediction must state a date and an exact location to the one hundredth degree in Latitude and Longitude. All quakes will be dated by Greenich time, as recorded by the USGS United States Geological Society. Your prediction must look like this I predict a quake over 6.6 on 01/01/99 located at 111.11E and 11.11S. If you wish to enter (click here) Include you name, address and phone number. We also have a professional quake challenge to judge professional quake predictors, that either use scientific, psychic or prophetic skills. In this challenge there is a $10,000 reward. See details below. In News Groups recently, two psychics or mystics who have both appeared on national radio shows due to their ability to predict quakes, have been predicting when and where quakes will occur. We have devised a scientific method to guage their abilities and the ability of anyone else in this quake prediction challenge by using the following scientific measurements as explained on this page. So, we have set up a earthquake prediction challenge to see if anyone can really predict earthquakes! As noted above there is no fee if you want to see if you can predict exactly where and when a quake will strike. The professional earthquake prediction challenge contest requires an entrance fee, and you will be judged by our system to measure your accuracy against a reknown mystic we have rated. If you beat his score, you can win up to $10,000.00. Again, there is an entrance fee to win that amount, but you do not have to be EXACT, you just have to beat the score we have posted as the winning score in the professional quake prediction challenge. The $1,000.00 exact prediction contest has no entrance fee! Limit of one quake prediction per person every 60 days. The quakes we are willing to judge in this challenge, are quakes over 6.6 on the richter scale. Approximately 20 or so of these magnitude quakes strike each year. So anyone picking a radom date has a 19 to 1 chance of probability to be successful in any given year by merely picking any date. We will accept quake predictions no sooner than 3 weeks from an event you are predicting in our earthquake prediction challenge. To enter our professional earthquake prediction challenge, you must agree tht the quake you are predicting will be over 6.6 in magnitude on the richter scale. You must state an exact date, example January 1st of 1999, and you must state a location in longitude and latitude. Example 0.00 N and 0.00 E. You will be judged on any quakes that occur on your date of prediction that are over 6.6 as recorded by the USGS, or any over 6.6 that occur 19 days before or after your predicted date. If any quake strikes over 6.6 in your plus or minus 19 day window you will be given a 100% score or 100 points for predicting the size of the quake, no matter how much larger than 6.6 the quake is. Everyone starts off with a 100% score or 100 points in two other categories as well and points are then deducted based on date inaccuracy and location inaccuracy in the following manner. Any 6.6 quake or larger that strikes on the date of your prediction is recorded as a 100% in date accuracy, however you will have 5% or 5 points deducted each day you are off in your prediction. If no quakes occur over 6.6 in your window of 19 days before or after your prediction date or on your date, then you receive a 0% and earn no points in any of the three categories. If you are 4 days off either before of after the event you predict, then you receive a 80% or 80 points in date accuracy since you are penalized 5% for each day of inaccuracy in this category. Quake dates are recorded by the USGS in Greenwich time, so what ever date is recorded by the USGS is the date of your prediction. We will not track hours. Accuracy in dating is recorded by the day in this contest of quake prediction ability. The next area you will be judged in is location of your prediction. You must state an longitude and a latitude to a second digit decimal point. Example 1.11o S and 111.11o E. If a quake strikes in your prediction window over 6.6, a measurement will be used using a straight line for mileage accuracy. If a mileage dispute arises, contestant agrees to accept the mileage given in a computer program that measures mileage between the points of your prediction and the actual location of the quake we are judging you on using longitude and latitude measurements. Location accuracy will be rounded off and based upon 250 mile increments. For every unit of mileage in linear distance you are off equal to 250 miles, your score of 100% in location accuracy will be deducted 1%. It would be virtually impossible for anyone to receive less than 50% or 50 points for any quakes in a window over 6.6, since all points on the earth are within 50 increments of 250 or 12,500 miles from any other location in the world. So the total points in this quake prediction challenge for a hit would look like this. 100% or 100 points for guessing that a quake of 6.6 or better will strike in your 39 day window. 100% or 100 points for guessing that a quake of 6.6 will strike on the exact day you predict. 5% or 5 point deductions are given for each day of inaccuracy. 100% or 100 points for guessing the exact location in longitude and latitude of an earth quake in your window over for a quake over 6.6. Remember 1% or 1 point deductions given for each 250 linear mileage of inaccuracy. There is a possible score 300 points or 100% accuracy. The final average will be the toal number of points in the three categoris divided by 3. Using this scoring method, anyone that predicts a quake over 6.6 for a set date, and no quakes occur that day or within the 19 day window before and after receives a 0 amount of points or 0%. A quake over 6.6 on the Richter scale must occur in your window to be measured. If you pick a date for 6.6 or better quake that is 4 days off and 2,500 miles off, then your score would look like this. 100% or 100 points for having a larger than 6.6 richter magnitude quake occur in your window. 80% or 80 points for being 4 days off. (5% x 4 days = 20% deduction) 90% or 90 points for being within 2,500 miles (1% x 10 increments of 250 miles = 10% deduction) Total score in this example would be 270 points and the average is 90% accuracy. In this challenge we are using the final score of 97.33% to judge anyone that wishes to be in this scientific contest of psychic and scientific methods for quake prediction, as a score that is considered to be a winner in the professional quake prediction challenge contest. To win the $1,000 contest, you must be EXACT. To win the $10,000 contest, you must pay an entrance fee and beat the score we have posted as the winning score. You don't have to disclose your methods. But, if you beat 97.33% as an average score or achieve more than 292 points using our method as stated above , then we will pay you up to $10,000 as a reward in this scientific contest to measure earthquake prediction ability. (See Disclaimer) We are willing to let anyone enter over 18 who thinks they are able to predict earthquakes. You email us your date for the quake to occur (at least 3 weeks or 21 days in advance), you include the longitude and latitude with two decimal points and state that you predict a quake over 6.6 on the richter scale will occur that day. We have an entrance fee to enter this contest of quake prediction ability. DICLAIMER: To earn our $10,000 reward, you must post a $1,000 entrance fee to our company. If you beat 292 points or average better than 97.33% you earn a $10,000 reward for being able to predict quakes more accurately than Sollog, someone that received a 97.33% score. More about Sollog and his score later. If you don't want to post $1,000 to enter this contest, lesser amounts will be accepted, and the reward for beating 292 points or a average of 97.33% will be rewarded with a 10 to 1 reward based on the amount you agree to post to enter this contest to earn a fee for your abilities. If you post $10.00 you will earn $100.00 if you beat the 292 point score. If you wish to not earn any monies and want to just test your abilities any way, we will accept your prediction and post them on our site anyway. You can still win $1,000 if you are EXACT in your prediction. Limit of one perdiction per person every 60 days. However, we will not pay anyone any reward fees in the professional earthquake prediction challenge, unless they post an amount of $1.00 to $1,000.00 as an entrance fee. The reason we started this challenge is to 1. measure the ability of individuals claiming to predict earthquakes. 2. to expose certain predictors of qukes as fakes by using a scientific measuring method to show if any claims of quake predictors are false! We have only seen one person consistently and accurately predict earthquakes. His name is Sollog. His 97.33% Score and total of 292 points was achieved recently by stating in a News Group over 3 weeks in advance, when a quake over 6.6 would strike, he gave the location and date. His 292 points or 97.33% score is a result of that prediction. But beware, Sollog has been 100% correct before, and his XMAS Prophecies posted on our site actually gave the EXACT DAY and LOCATION in a simple riddle for this quake we have given him a 97.33% score on! Here's a map of how accurate Sollog was in his quake predition we are using to judge this contest.
The red line is where Sollog said to expect the quake, the Red Dot is the area. (Editors note, a quake struck the red dot 4 days after Hanukkah! That is how accurate Sollog is!) The green line and dot shows where it hit! If you want to read more about what Sollog predicted to earn his 292 point score or 97.33% average, (click here) If you wish to enter the professional contest (click here). State your name, address, date of quake over 6.6 on the richter scale to occur, and the location using 2 decimal points for longitude and latitude, you must include North or South in the latitude and East or West in the longitude. You must state the amount of entrance fee you wish to post in your email. If you do not wish to earn any monies for your prediction abilities, then state you do not expect to earn a fee if you beat 292 points or 97.33% in your email prediction. All predictions will be posted on this page. Using probability, the average score of a successful quake prediction will be 100 points for magnitude, 50 points for date accuracy and 75 points for location or a total of 225 points or a 75% avg score. JP Essene Editor What's HOT! LOTR PS. An open challenge to the fake and fraud known as Dr. Turi. Give us a prediction and if you score better than Sollog, you win $10,000. Your entrance fee is waived Dr. Turi. Let's see how good you really are! (Editors Note: It was posted that Hanukkah was the time when a large quake over 6.6, would strike near Pentacost Island. 4 days aftrer Hanukkah a 7.0 quake struck next to PENTACOST ISLANDS! It earned Sollog a 280 Point score. It is interesting to note that the quake was 4 degrees off in Long. and Lat. and 4 days off. 444, the triple number as Sollog WARNED appeared!) Quake Predictions of Sollog 1.
